Spectrally selective window tinting films block only select wavelengths of

Spectrally selective window tint films allow for a

environment. These films are the most subtle, practically invisible
when installed - ideal for maintaining a perfect view, and a

| This is an example of
conventional film here (the turquoise
colored curve) a traditional metal film that gets it's
performance from blocking most of the visible light
component of the spectrum. This is why most traditional
metallized products are dark and reflective. Notice how
much infrared heat is transmitted through this film.
This film is not “Spectrally Selective” because it does
not block more infrared than visible light. It actually
blocks more light than heat! From a manufactures point
of view this is the easiest and least expensive film to
make, however visible light is more desirable in our
homes and business’s. |

maximum UV and infrared heat. Spectrally Selective films
are the most difficult films to produce because they are
spectrally tuned to let in the light and block out the
heat. Spectrally selective film provides the most
benefits in homes. Clear spectrally selective film does
not change the appearance of existing glass
