non-reflective/dyed material. This type of
tinting, usually the cheapest, has the weakest
warranty, and has a tendency to turn purple and
form bubbles over time. These films have a 3 to
5 year and sometimes lifetime warranty, and are
used by shops that compete for business by
offering the lowest price. If you are price
shopping over the phone and choosing your
installer based on price, chances are this is
what you will get.

rating is preferred for maintaining

Measures the
window film’s ability to reject
solar energy in the form of visible
light, infrared radiation and
ultraviolet light. The higher the
TSER number, the more solar energy
is rejected away from the window.
